My husband and I share this stone and half-timbered house with Valentino and Sox, our two tabby cats, and Andor, our German Shepard/Chow chow mix. The house was built as an abbey more than 100 years ago. About a one-hour drive from Frankfurt, Germany we are located in a small town surrounded by forests and agricultural lands in "Bird Mountain" national park which is among the largest (inactive) volcanoes in the world.
